aww here it goes.
I break my silence today. I kept my mouth shut as long as I
could but my readers need to know the cold hard truth. Don’t just believe
everything you read on the internet. Alec Baldwin, the war in Afghanistan,
Kenan and kel. A popular theory to be sure, but I’m here to bust this myth,
Alec Baldwin has nothing to do with this. But what of Kenan and kel and the war
in Afghanistan, I did some digging and let’s just say I came up with more than
just earthworms. Its common knowledge that the most beloved sitcom of all time
Kenan and kel aired from july 1996 to July 2000. What if I also told you the
United States began the war in Afghanistan in 2001. You’re probably connecting
some dots, but let me help you along. But first we need to enter the psychology
of the human mind. Rome 1st century BC, an age of iron and steel
where ruthlessness prevailed, people of this time satiated their bloodlust by
watching gladiators kill and be killed in the arena. This spectacle served to
fill the void of ruthlessness and bloodshed that man needed. Let me throw a
little quote at you. “Man needs only two things in life, carnal fulfillment and
war” –Sigmun Freud. We can see evidence of man needing war fulfillment
throughout history plainly and I won’t go into detail. But you may be asking
yourself “what does this have to do with kenan and kel?” well let me throw some
knowledge at you. The cold war, the aftermath of world war 2 and the fear of a
war with the superpower Russia ended in 1991. For 3 years the world was left
without bloodshed, war andwithout anything to fill the void. The world was a
ticking time bomb just waiting to go off. But in 1994 something amazing
happened something that changed us fundamentally, two unlikely heroes banded
together to form a duo that would alter the face of this world. Kenan and kel
joined the cast of a sketch comedy show called “all that”. These performances
mesmerized America and the two quickly became a household name. Their sketch
comedy was so good it filled the void we used to fill with war, death and hate.
The two then went on to create the outstanding Kenan and kel, further cementing
themselves as the ultimate stars. Their hijinks taught us many things, chief
among them being that we shouldn’t live our lives filled with battle, but
should focus on simple things that make us happy like orange soda and
mischievous hijinks. It seemed there
would be no end to this peace… that is until july 2000, when the show aired its
final episode and the duo split due to “creative differences.” From this it is
no wonder the world went mad. Al-Quaeda attacked the twin towers and we
inevitably found ourselves in another war. “Aww here it goes” indeed.
